Giants and Cubs tonight in Chicago

July 16, 2007 § Leave a comment

Tim Lincecum has been very good for the Giants this season since his debut on May fifth this year. He did have his struggles but lately he has been on a roll. One thing to me that stands out about Lincecum his his stike outs to innings pitched ratio. Lincecum has struck out 79 in just 72 innings pitched. He sports a 4-2 record with a 4.63 ERA. Tonight is one of my games of the week because I am interested to see him pitch against the red hot Cubs. With him having to face guys like Soriano and Fontenot and Lee it should be exciting and a true test for the 23 year old right hander from the University Of Washington.
