Yankees at Blue Jays todays match up of the day…

The Yankees are really on a roll as of late as they have done what most of us thought was out of the question for this season. The Yankees are right in the wildcard chase now and just a month or so ago no one thought they would be where they are now. With A-Rod getting his 500th career homerun out of the way the focus will be all about winning games and the distraction of the 500th homerun is now behind. Not to say the Yankees werent focusing on winning but anytime a player is close to a milestone like that their is going to be that extra something hanging over and 500 homeruns is a great milestone. The Yankees are sending the vetaran Roger Clemens to the mound tonight to face the Blue Jays. Clemens who has been rattled lately is 3-5 with a 4.23 era. Clemens will need to put together a solid performance tonight to help lead the Yankees over the Blue Jays in Toronto. The Blue Jays will be sending Josh Towers to the mound. Towers is 5-8 with a 5.17 era so far this season. Tonight should be a good game as lastnight was decided by just 1 run as the Yankees won 5-4. Look or excitement in this game tonight!

Happy Birthday A-Rod.

Alex Rodriguez turns 32 today and he is just 1 homerun shy of 500. What an amazing number to be so close to at this age. A-Rod wheather you like him or not is having an amazing season and is really being very productive. A-Rod struggled last season but has really turned it around this year with some very impressive numbers. A-Rod is currently batting .309 with 102 RBI’s and a league leading 35 big fly’s. Im predicting A-Rod to hit atleast 1 homerun tonight agianst the Orioles. So happy birthday A-Rod and congrats on what you are about to achieve.Alex┬áRodriguez

A- Rods Contract

Alex Rodriguez said today that despite the Yankees saying they will negotiate his contract with him during the season, he says he will waite till the end of the season to do so. A-Rod can opt out of his contract after this season is over but the real question is who is gonna pay his extrmely high salary? He has 3 and half seasons left on his mamoth 10 year 252 million dollar deal. That is some serious money.

Where Am I?
